Secondly - The Registration Process
- Apply to DVSA to become a Driving Instructor.
- Complete DVSA enhanced CRB check.

Steps to qualify as an approved Driving Instructor.
Part 1 test - Your first step on the road to becoming a Driving Instructor.
The theory test or Part 1 test can be done in your own time. We will supply you with recommended study guides.

Passing this test is the first step on the road to becoming a driving instructor.
Part 2 test - Once you have completed the Part 1, we move on to this step.
The Part 2 or test of driving abilities is a practical driving test. We will provide you with up to 10 hours one to one training to reach the required standard.
This can usually be completed within a week.

Part 3 test - Test of instructional ability.
Training for this test is done on a one-to-one basis in one of our training vehicles and in total you will complete 40 hours in car training. Completing and passing all 3 parts will enable you to become a fully qualified approved driving instructor.
We can also offer the possibility of a trainee licence at this point which is valid for 6 months and allows you to gain on the job experience.
Once you have passed the 3 Parts
Once you have gained the professional qualification as a Driving Instructor (DVSA ADI) the career offers you flexibility of working hours and days, financial and working independence, as well as providing you with a great deal of job satisfaction and reward. You will get to meet many new people and help them achieve a valuable lifetime skill.

The course price includes all training on a one to one basis for all 3 qualifying exams. In-car training is provided in one of our vehicles for Parts 2 and 3.
All of your Driving Instructor training is provided one to one throughout, to ensure you not only easily pass the 3 qualifying exams but also to train and guide you as to how to be confident in your new job and how to be successful in your new work.

Although there are many ways of training to become a diving instructor, we have found from our experience that our full training course is the most effective way as we develop all the skills you require throughout the whole training towards the end result with 100% success rate with the new Standards Check Qualifying Exams and unlike many national schools we do not tie you in to a long term contract.

Many Instructors hugely benefit from a few hours guidance and training prior to a check test to assist in gaining a better grade. Many instructors who have failed a check test have received training from us and subsequently gained a successful and check test pass and good grading.
