Hi all as other instructors have said I will be continuing to work as normal until told otherwise. I have wipes and sanitizer in my car which pupils are welcome to use . I regularly wash my hands and clean down the controls . I hope we can continue to work through this together and keep the economy going . I am constantly monitoring the health of myself and my family

Hi everyone its important for all of us to work together to ensure that we can prevent the virus spreading I've always cleaned the car before starting lessons and now I'm wiping down all the controls, door handles after each lesson.
I completely agree with the previous comments regarding wipes and hand gels. I feel it's important to ensure pupils are fit and well before they get in the car. I am discussing the signs and symptoms of the virus with my pupils and encouraging them to let me know in advance of the lesson if they are unwell so we can rearrange when it is safe to do so, reducing the risk of exposure to others.
Due to the developing Corona Virus situation, I'd like to inform all current and new clients
that all the recommended precautions are in place.
I will be continuing with lessons until the government tells me to stop.
I have and will continue to have anti-bacterial wipes in my car and hand sanitiser, which I use after every lesson.
You are more than welcome to use the hand sanitiser that I have left, when you come to your lesson. I will ask you to use a anti-bacterial wipe to wipe down all the controls you are likely to use whilst you have your lesson and again after your lesson before leaving the car.
If you feel unwell and have flu like symptoms, please contact me ASAP
Coronavirus symptoms are as follows -
A new persistent cough / A fever or high temperature / There are also reports of overwhelming feelings of tiredness.
If you decide to cancel your lesson, please let me know as soon as possible so that I can offer the slot to someone else.
My 48 hour cancellation notice still applies at this time. But I will review this as and when the government release new guidelines.
So in the meantime, keep healthy, keep washing those hands and I’ll see you soon!
If you do have any symptoms; please seek medical advise and note to take at least a week off from lessons;
Please note; if I find students who are unwell during a lesson; it will be terminated and costs for the lesson will apply..
Anyone who has Theory tests and driving tests; please check your emails and junk for cancellations as DVSA are taking precautions too.. and keep me updated please.
Due to the developing Corona Virus situation, I'd like to inform all current and new clients

All controls and equipment are cleaned before and after every lesson.

Disinfectant wipes and hand gels are supplied and must be used at all times.

Anyone who is feeling feeling unwell and wants to cancel or rearrange a lesson.
Please try and give me at least a 48 hour notice so I can adjust my diary for other people.

The DVSA are emailing instructions to anyone with a test booked in the next week
to let them know what they need to do.

We all need to take care and look out for each other.
As per some of my colleagues,I too have always used anti bacterial wipes after each session as best practice.
From 2 weeks ago,I have added an alcohol sanitister in line with the threat of the new virus.
I am updated from the DVSA with changing guidelines and ask you to read this in conjunction with the links from MJ Driving School regarding my own and your responsibilities to avoid spreading the virus. Please advise myself at you're earliest convenience of any potential threat and I will assist in any way I can.
Let's keep doing what the medical experts suggest and remain calm!
Regards to all,Wayne

To all current / new clients all Government recommended precautions are being implemented both personally and within my vehicle to reduce any risk. If you do have any symptoms please get in touch prior to any Lessons.

During this time as the Business Manager here at MJ Driving School Leeds, my priority, as always, is to safeguard both our valued clients and colleagues at all times. I have been closely monitoring the advice issued form the Government regarding measures that should be taken to minimize any risks and have been updating people at the earliest opportunity. I too am following all advice given personally, and ensure that I wash my hands regularly, keep my car clean, am communicating with clients and colleagues via telephone to avoid unnecessary meetings and I am happy to say that this is working well and there are no concerns at present.
