I had automatic lesson with Shafiq and passed the first time recently with 1 minor fault. Shafiq has been very patient and encouraging while teaching. He is also very organised and arrives on time before lessons. He takes care of the car very well and makes sure everything is good and ready for the test, so that as a learner, I don’t need to worry about anything but the test itself. Highly recommend Shafiq if you need automatic lessons!

I passed my test today with PAV, he is so easy to work with, flexible with his time and accommodating his students

I took some refresher lessons with Shafiq after over a year of not driving since my test. The lessons really helped me regain my confidence driving and Shafiq was really reassuring and supportive.

I recently passed by automatic driving test thanks to my lessons with Shafiq and I couldn't be more grateful.
After trying to learn in the past and really struggling I was ready to give up on passing my test but Shafiq taught me everything I needed to know and helped me finally become a confident driver. He has been so professional, organised and always on time for my lessons. I definitely started out as a nervous driver but Shafiq has been so patient and helpful, never made me feel discouraged.
Absolutely incredible teaching, he went through everything I needed to know thoroughly and carefully so I could pass my test.
I definitely recommend Shafiq, fantastic driving instructor.

I passed my manual driving test today first time after 20 lessons with Bob as my instructor. Bob has a wealth of knowledge and experience of the local Horsforth area allowing me to feel really relaxed and comfortable on my test.Thanks Bob!

I took automatic lessons with Shafiq.
He is very professional and very well organised, always booked lessons in appropriate timing. He was always on time for all our lessons. Very carefully and patiently pushed me outside my comfort zone and made me a very confident driver. He never discouraged me when I made a silly mistake and was always happy to repeat things multiple times. He was always very friendly and I would recommend him to anyone wanting to learn how to drive. His car is also very well equipped for a first time driver which is a bonus. I passed today first time with 1 minor, thanks to Shafiq !

I did a mini intensive course for automatic over the past few weeks I started with no driving experience and Shafiq had me test ready and feeling confident in no time great instructor who doesn’t waste time teaching you what you need to know.can’t recommend more great guy and instructor.

Today, I passed my driving test on the first attempt with 0 minor faults! I really enjoyed my driving lessons with Teklit and cannot recommend him enough. He was always patient, supportive, and professional. When I first started my driving lessons, I was so nervous (especially when approaching busy roundabouts...) and I did not believe in myself. Thanks to him, I became much more confident and felt ready for the driving test. Thank you so much, Teklit!

I passed my manual test first time today, with help from my brilliant instructor Israar!

I have had several instructors over the year but none have ever taught me as much as Israar has. His calm and patient approach has helped me to build my driving skills and develop my confidence, which has always been one of my biggest problems when driving. I really enjoyed Israar's teaching style, he explained things clearly and always helped me to stay positive if there was a particular area I found difficult.

His availability was always great, he was able to organise lessons around my 9-5 work schedule, which was a really big help to me!

Thanks to pav I have passed first time on my driving test (24th January 2024) he is a exceptional driving instructor and I couldn’t be happier.

I’ve passed my test today on the first attempt thanks to my excellent instructor Adel. Adel is patient, very thorough and focused with his teaching and he has been very flexible with lesson availability. I would highly recommend Adel and MJ if you’re learning to drive.

I passed my manual driving test today with thanks to my instructor Hanna. From being a beginner when I started with Hanna to passing first time, she really helped me become comfortable and confident in the car. She was very flexible with lesson times and I would recommend her to anybody.

I first PASSED my practical FIRST TIME after learning to drive a manual Suzuki Swift with AHMAD from the MJ Driving School!

Special thanks to Ahmad for your continued patience and friendliness; always calm and happy to explain/ discuss things, and I enjoyed our convos n jokes! I can honestly say it felt like learning with a friend.

I appreciated your balance between pushing me to learn more per lesson and focusing/ repeating/ practising fundamentals!

Additionally, Ahmad offered me as much time as needed, including double lessons some weeks, to catch up if I was busy the week before (on weekends, too), all while working around my 9-5 — fantastic availability, on time and active on messages.

I booked my test before finding an instructor; Ahmad did great to teach me everything I needed to know in 5 months (averaging 1x 2hr lessons a week). And MJ Driving School did well to get me on the road ASAP - from first contact, I was behind the wheel in 5 days!

5/5 star experience - I would recommend it to all my friends, but I was the last to learn - commonly mocked as passenger princess - well, not anymore, haha

I am Leo, a pupil under your school. I am writing this email to show my gratitude and my appreciation to my instructor, Rizwan.

From the first day he started to teach me, he was always been patient, providing correct and detailed instructions on how to properly drive. When I made mistakes, not only he would point out how to improve, he would cheer me up meanwhile, boosting me confidence to practice and become a better driver. Thanks to his professional guidance, I successfully passed a manual driving test on Horsforth on 20/12/2023, with only 2 minors.

My success in driving inevitably linked to Rizwan's teaching, undoubtedly deserved to be recommended. I highly recommend him as an instructor.

I passed my driving test (automatic) first time with just 2 minors today following 8 lessons with Shafiq! After having lessons with 6 different instructors and multiple bad experiences I was quite nervous and close to giving up but Shafiq’s clear instruction got me test ready in no time. He was excellent at picking up points to refine while staying positive, was always punctual and did a great job of calming my nerves. I would highly recommend him to anybody.

Passed my test yesterday at the age of 35! After a few failed attempts aged 17, I decided it was time to try again after having my second daughter and needing the freedom to drive them around, as well as get myself to work. I was an extremely anxious driver and after an unsuccessful first instructor, Hanna was absolutely wonderful. She was an expert teacher who built my confidence and helped me to feel safe and secure. She even managed to persuade me to sit my test even though I kept insisting I wasn't ready... she was right! Thank you Hanna, this is genuinely going to be life changing for me.

Passed today! Thanks to the amazing Naila who kept my cool calm and collected! she is a perfect instructor for nervous drivers and has really worked with me to build my confidence with driving! Couldn’t have done it without her!

I am a very anxious driver and have had a really bad experience with previous instructors. My instructor Adel was amazing! He was so patient and made sure I was so well prepared for my test. He was really flexible with booking lessons and worked around my schedule. I passed with 3 minors and am so grateful for his help!

I took refresher lessons after quite a few years not driving. Shafiq really helped build up my confidence driving in different areas across Leeds and Bradford not just test routes. I'd recommend Shafiq he was great at putting me at ease and very patient!

Arshed was a patient and understanding teacher, despite my short timeframe for lessons in Leeds! I would recommend to anyone who has not driven previously or feels nervous!

First time test taker and able to pass it with just 2 minor errors. I was very anxious and wanted to reschedule my exam but Adel helped me and build my confidence to take the exam. He gave constructive criticism and honest opinion on how i drive which helped me a lot. Huge five star to Adel and MJ driving school, highly recommended.

Massive thank you to Maan Dalahal who took me on for the final month of lessons after my previous instructor switched to automatic. He is punctual, polite, and has great knowledge of driving. I had Shafiq as my driving instructor who was brilliant and very patient with me through out the 'learning to drive' journey. Unfortunately i had to move away from Leeds and couldn't continue my lessons with him . But he has definitely made me more confident in my driving and would definitely recommend him.

Would like to give a huge thanks to Ali Akhtar who helped me pass my test first time. He was very patient and calm and I could not recommend him any more!

I started driving lesson with mj driving schools early this year and passed first time in September! I had Bob as my driving instructor who was amazing- always pushing you each lesson to improve your driving and is patient with you, he’s not afraid to point out your mistakes and help you develop them over time which is exactly what you need! He was always on time for every lesson, explained everything you need to know and made me feel like a confident driver putting me at ease; I couldn’t recommend him any more.

Teklit is a really good instructor. Thanks to teklit i passed my test with only 4 minor. His lesson all the was enjoyable never feel under pressure. He teached me to be a confident driver and he beileved to me more than i beileve myself. Thank you so much teklit

Ahmad was a brilliant instructor and it was lots of fun learning to drive with him.

I was nervous at times, but he was always very kind and patient, and gave gentle and constructive feedback when I needed to work on things or forgot any information.

His instructions are very easy to follow and he is clear and concise - he helped me out when needed but more importantly pushed me at all the right times, which definitely helped me build up my confidence quickly.

I somehow managed to pass first time with no minors! Couldn’t have done it without him. Thanks so much again!

I passed my test with Craig, my third and final driving instructor. The most down to earth bloke who adjusted his teaching methods to suit me. He was extremely flexible with working around my crazy schedule. I couldn’t thank you more Craig, 100% would recommend :))

I cannot speak highly enough for Arshad, his patience and faith in me have made all the difference. How he did not bang his head against a wall in frustration I will never know as it has been a challenge learning to drive and gaining confidence.
